I personally hate plain Greek yogurt. I want to like it. But I don’t. Even with berries it doesn’t work for me.
So one day, I had extra mashed banana and decided to mix it in with my yogurt. It was good, but what makes every banana treat better….?
PEANUT BUTTER. I added in some of that and then it reminded me of Perry’s peanut butter chip frozen yogurt, ESP if you don’t mix the peanut butter all the way and leave it like swirls. So I found my trusty mini chocolate chips and BAM. I had myself I frozen yogurt substitute with way less sugar!
And if you know me, you know I’m not even about substituting. I like the real deal. So this is real. And REALLY GOOD.
I’m not sure if I like it better fresh or frozen, but let me know what you think!
PB BANANA YOGURT
1 plain Greek yogurt
1 mashed banana (leave chunks if you like them)
1 spoonful peanut butter (sorry that’s the best I measure!)
Mix it up and sprinkle in some mini chocolate chips if you love yourself some chocolate like me.

Make ahead. Freeze in a plastic container for another day!
Thaw 30 seconds in microwave or 30 minutes on the counter.
SO GOOD. I eat this for breakfast. I take it to work. I eat it before we hike the falls. I eat it when I want to satisfy my sweet craving or ice cream craving without making me feel like crap. 🤷🏼♀️ And I make it ahead when I have bananas I have to use since it can be frozen and eaten in an instant!
You can get creative with your flavor combos. You can do nuts. You can do cinnamon and apples. Diff nut butters. Idk, just start with plain yogurt and the options are endless!
Oh and kids would LOVE to make this!!
